Obverse Description

The obverse is blank with an irregularly shaped pellet in middle. This is just an artifact of the die breaking, and not an intentional design feature. There are slight traces of the original design visible near the edges.

Reverse Description

The reverse is dominated by a tree like object with five branches at the top (three to the left and two to the right) and three roots at the bottom. The branches on the right have a thin line leading from them. To the left and right of the tree are bars with a double wave pattern in each. At the head of each bar, by the tree trunk, is a crescent.

Below each bar is a beaded ringed pellet. These are the two rosettes that give the coin its name. Below these is a crooked line.

Directly above the tree is a beaded ringed pellet. To the left and right are large empty ovals.
